Alfalite, Europe’s only LED screen manufacturer, has unveiled its Modularpix Pro VP XR technology as the driving force behind the newly launched Coruña Immersive Studio (CEI) in A Coruña, Galicia. Recognized as Spain’s largest virtual production facility, CEI boasts a 28 x 6-meter LED wall, a 100-square-meter ceiling screen, and two side LED totems, integrating a total of 1,152 Alfalite VP XR LED panels. The studio, spanning 750 square meters within A Coruña’s Cidade das TIC technology hub, is designed for high-end film, television, and advertising productions. Developed in collaboration with Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA) and Tangram Solutions, the project was co-financed by the A Coruña Provincial Council and the Government of Spain through the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.

The state-of-the-art LED panels enable real-time, hyper-realistic environments with exceptional depth, precision, and seamless interaction with physical elements. The studio’s advanced setup also includes Pixotope’s 3D tracking solution, ARRI Alexa cameras, Canon lenses, and Novastar MX Series processors, ensuring top-tier visual experiences. Luis Garrido, Alfalite’s executive director, emphasized that the CEI is set to become a leading European hub for virtual production, attracting national and international projects. Alfalite’s VP XR technology delivers high luminance, superior color spectrum, and unmatched reliability, establishing the CEI as a benchmark for the most demanding audiovisual productions.
