Setting up and running a digital LED film set (volume studio) has many complicated options. During my interview with Jeffrey Glaser,  SVP of Business Development of Showrunner, he explained to me that studios, networks and media production companies have production crews that may not be on location, require set changes can take time and mistakes can result in continuity errors and need monitoring, coordination and communication between many people. To solve this challenge, Showrunner created tools that allow for the remote monitoring and operation of most studio set equipment using a mix of connected devices including smartphones.
